The Athena Digital Design Academy aims to foster a tech community at Barnard for students of all majors and empower the next generation of technologists.

We are supported by the Athena Center and the Computational Science Center.

For Students

Take a Class

The Athena Digital Design Academy offers free web development courses to Barnard students. We teach students from all disciplines how to build simple, beautiful websites, in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Join the Community of Practice

Once you've completed our course, you can join our cohort of students working on building tech projects! We have a dedicated expert in Residence available for tech help and a variety of guest Barnard alum speakers in tech that join us.

Join the Student Advisory Board

Members of the Student Advisory Board take on leadership positions on ADDA's entrepreneurial team. Your skills can be used on any of our  Marketing, Academy, Admissions, and Technical teams.
